Having initially been employed as a Social Media and Marketing Officer I was quickly promoted to Marketing Manager after the initial impact of COVID-19 took effect. My new responsibilities were too generate sales leads via traditional advertising and social media as our Phillipines based marketing department were in lockdown and unable to access company files and social media channels due to access issues. Primarily focused on FACEBOOK, my strategy was to focus on increased audience engagement initially and then target our main demographic based on FB Statistical data to promote special products and promotions. I increased our FB likes and followers from 8K to 10.5K during the first 8 weeks and then focused heavily on lead generation. My KPI was set at an average of 80 leads per day, when my strategy was fully implemented and small adjustments were made to the FB campaign, I was averaging 120 leads into our CRM per day. This resulted in the total sales for the months of May, June & July to be an average of 450K per month, the highest it had achieved in the 20 year history of the company and all in the middle of a global pandemic…
